Challenges encountered before integrating NetExplorer

More and more local servers

With each site and department using its own servers, information storage was becoming fragmented, complex to manage, and difficult to centralize. This proliferation of local servers not only increased the maintenance burden, but also exposed data to increased risks, such as breakdowns or loss of information. In addition to being costly and time-consuming, this configuration limited operational efficiency and made it difficult for users to securely access data in real time, impacting the fluidity of exchanges and team productivity.

Share and store files between sites

AMISEP, with its 80 branches spread across Brittany, needed a reliable solution to centralize and facilitate file sharing between its various establishments and services. However, in the absence of a dedicated IT solution, each site managed its documents independently, complicating access to information and hampering collaboration.

Shadow IT with Google Drive

In the absence of an internal tool, some employees turned to Google Drive to share documents, resulting in a Shadow IT situation. This uncontrolled practice exposed the association to security and confidentiality risks, while escaping the management and control of the IT team.
